Lisa Sanderson
is a research analyst for Shem & Sons. She studies comparative linguistics, with a special interest in Hebrew and Arabic after spending the 2007-08 school year as an international student at the University of Haifa in Israel. She is from Washington State, and began studying Spanish in high school at age 14, sparking a passion for language study which has turned her into a global citizen... Lisa lived in Chile for 6 years, and has also spent time in Armenia, Greece and Israel, as well as visiting other countries whenever she has the opportunity. Her primary research focus at this time is material in support of the simultaneous acquisition of familiarity with both Hebrew and Arabic for English speakers.
